About Us! |
| The
Monday Night Racing League began back in 2001 as an Arcade stock
car league using Papyrus' Nascar Racing 4. It has since evolved
into a multi series league using two different racing platforms:
Papyrus' Nascar Racing 2003 Season and ISI's rFactor, using a
variety of racing styles. We race stock cars on Monday nights
using NSS mod for rFactor. This series follows along with the
real Nascar Nextel Cup series schedule featuring open setups.
Tuesday nights we run our Tuesday Road Racing Championship Series
(TRCS). This series runs two sprint races a night on a variety
of different road courses from around the world and also features
open setups running the rFactor BMW 320 E21 cars. Wednesday nights
turn MNRL to MIRL as we slip into some open wheel cars. The MIRL
features fixed setups using the iDT ChampCar mod for rFactor running
on both road courses as well as oval tracks throughout the season.
We then have our Grand Prix Nippon series. GP Nippon features
the Formula Nippon mod running in a fixed setup rFactor series.
The twist to this series is that it runs on two nights (Thursday
and Fridays), so you can run whatever night works best for you
(or both!). On Saturday nights ChampCars come back in the North
American ChampCar Series. This is also a fixed setup series, running
North American Road Courses. Our final series of the week happens
on Sunday nights when we run the Classic Auto Racing Series. This
series features the Classic LeMans mod for rFactor using fixed
setups on a variety of road courses. The MNRL is a no pressure league, leading to fun racing no matter what series you're in. Whether you enjoy fixed or open setup racing, it's all here. But don't be scared if a series you're interested in has open setups and you feel you're not typically good at making your own, there's always someone there to lend a helping hand or even offer their own setup if you announce you're having some problems. So pick out the series you like best and sign up! If you have any questions, feel free to register and post at the forum, or email the series admin if you'd like. Thanks for stopping by, and we'll see you on the track! |
