Shane McCarty

Shane McCarty, the 2001 rookie of the year for Cup would dominate the 2002 Busch season. He would run away from defending champion, James Kelley, in the 2nd half of the season to capture the Busch title.

After this, for the most part, he would retire, paint cars and take care after his new child. His status for 2004 is unknown at the time...but the MNRL would be missing a great competitor if he were not to return.
