James Kelley
James Kelley joined the league in early 2001 about 7 or so races into the season. He would end up finishing 2nd to Kenny Smith for the Cup Championship in the 2001 season. However, he would end up winning both the Busch and ARCA championship in 2001. 2002 would be his break out year though. He would win both 2002 Cup season championship and the Winston championship. He would also break away from dominating just Super-speedways and the occasionally Speedway...and start to master both road courses and short tracks which had been his Achilles heal. James was busy with school for the first half of 2003, but he would come on strong during the second half by winning Cup Season 2 Championship and is the champ of our inaugural Craftsman Truck Series. In 2004 James would capture the Season 1 Cup championship and the inaugural Trans Am championship before going into semi retirement for the remainder of the year.
