Sam Giltner

MIRL newcomer Sam Giltner put on an impressive drive while winning the MIRL Season 7 Overall and Road Course championships. Giltner took the championship on the strength of 5 wins, with 4 coming on road courses and one on an oval. Sam drives for Torrent Motorsports, and is striving to develop a non-virtual racing career. Sam was born and raised 20 minutes from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and has always been a fan of motorsports for as long as he can remember. Sam has quickly become a leader among the series drivers, and is well respected for his clean and fast driving on the track.

"This was truly a great feeling to come through with two championships this year against some stiff competition at times. My first ever oval races went pretty smoothly as well, nearly taking the title there and missing 1 race. I want to thank Torrent Motor Sports for putting me in this series and helping get me to a title!"
